Trucks restricted to one lane of Kahnaw�:ke-bound Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Minist�re de Transports du Quebec that a restriction for trucks is in place for the right lane of the Kahnaw�:ke-bound Mercier Bridge.

For a period of approximately one month, truckers will be prohibited from using the right-hand lane to ensure the safety of the workers under the bridge.
The lane restriction will remain in place until work is completed under the right lane, and the restriction will then be in place for the left-hand lane.
Since it is an alternating restriction, truckers should pay careful attention to signage that indicates which lane is prohibited.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
