AFNQL hosting special forum on Policing, workshop on Clean Energy and Climate Change

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Rats�nhaienhs Clinton Phillips will be attending a special forum on First Nations Policing being hosted by the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec & Labrador  (AFNQL) in Montreal from today until Thursday in Montreal.

The agenda will include discussions and presentations on policing and public security.

As well, the AFNQL is hosting workshops on Consultation and Climate Change being held today and tomorrow, also in Montreal. Today�s meeting on Consultation is officially an information session on the process of consultation, while tomorrow�s agenda will address the issues of clean energy growth and climate change. Iets�nhaienhs Christine Zachary-Deom will be attending these meetings on behalf of the MCK.
