Mercier Bridge closures tonight and Thursday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that complete and partial night closures on the Mercier Bridge and its access ramps have been scheduled for tonight (Wednesday, March 8) and Thursday, March 9 for inspection work on the following schedule.

Wednesday, March 8: (see map below)
�    Complete closure of the Route 138 up-ramp toward Montreal from 7pm until 5am Thursday, March 9.
�    Closure of the Route 132 down-ramp (toward La Prairie) from 8pm until Thursday, March 9 at 5am.
�    Only one lane available Montreal-bound Bridge from Wednesday, March 8 at 7pm until Friday, March 10 at 5am. Both Kahnaw�:ke-bound lanes available.



Thursday, March 9: (see map below)
�    Complete closure of the Route 138 down-ramp (toward Chateauguay) from Thursday, March 9 at 10pm until Friday, March 10 at 5am.
�    Closure of the Route 132 up-ramp (toward Montreal) from Thursday, March 9 at 7pm until Friday, March 10 at 5am.
�    Only one lane available in each direction on the Mercier Bridge from Thursday, March 9 at 10pm until Friday, March 10 at 5am.



Detours via the local network will be set up.

Also note, the Route 138 east down-ramp to A20 east (towards Montreal) will be closed tonight from 10pm to 5am. Detour via A20 west to 1st avenue in Lachine.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
