Chiefs visit Maliseet Nation for meetings

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Ratits�nhaienhs Joseph Tokwiro Norton, Martin Leborgne and Bobby Patton will be meeting with representatives of Tobique (Maliseet) First Nation in New Brunswick tomorrow (Wednesday).

The discussion topics will be Nation-to-Nation jurisdiction centering on hunting, fishing and harvesting, as well as economic development opportunities.

The three Ratits�nhaienhs will be out of the office the rest of this week for travel purposes. They will return on Tuesday, April 18, since Friday and Monday are holidays.
