Mercier Bridge down to one lane in each direction this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Minist�re des Transport du Quebec that the Mercier Bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction this weekend, beginning Friday, June 30th at 10pm until Monday, July 3rd at 5am.

The closure is required to make repairs to the slab on the Montreal-bound side of the span. As a result, all traffic will be diverted to the Kahnaw�:ke-bound side of the bridge, using a �counter-flow� detour.

In addition, the Airlie entrance to the Kahnaw�:ke-bound span will be closed during the same time period.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
