Mercier Bridge completely closed Friday night

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that the Mercier Bridge will be completely closed this Friday night, August 18th, to replace bearings under the bridge.

Lanes will begin closing at around 9pm and the bridge will be completely closed in both directions between 11pm and 5am on Saturday, August 19th.

This closure is required to ensure user and worker safety during the work. Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
