Early Morning Accident Under Investigation

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are continuing their investigation into the cause of this morning�s fatal accident on Veterans Boulevard.

The accident occurred at approximately 03:00 this morning when a vehicle struck a guardrail and abutment in the area of the creek.

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are leading the investigation with the assistance of the Surete du Quebec for their technical expertise in accident reconstruction.
 
At this time, we can confirm that two (2) local males, aged 21 and 17, died at the scene, and three female occupants were transported to hospital with various injuries, one of whom is in critical condition.
 
The 21-year-old driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured and was taken to the Peacekeeper station for questioning.
 
The Kahnawake Peacekeepers would like to thank the local residents who assisted the victims out of the vehicle.
