Mercier Bridge closures this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Minist�re des Transport that inspection operations on signage and lighting systems will result in partial closures on the Mercier Bridge and the closure of the ramps to routes 132 and 138 on November 11 and 12.

Saturday, November 11, 2017

  • Closure of one lane on the Kahnaw�:ke-bound Mercier Bridge from 6 am to noon
  • Closure of the off-ramp toward Ch�teauguay from 6 am to 10 am
  • The detour will take Route 132 eastbound (toward La Prairie), followed by a U-turn at the first set of traffic lights/Depot Road.
Sunday, November 12, 2017
  • Closure of one lane on the Kahnaw�:ke-bound Mercier Bridge from 6 am to noon;
  • Closure of the off-ramp eastbound toward La Prairie from 6 am to 10 am.
  • The detour will take Route 138 west (toward Chateauguay), to Route 207, onto the 138 east to the 132 east.
Signs will be installed to indicate the detour roads.

All lanes and ramps towards Montreal will remain open.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
