Unauthorized dumping in community

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Public Safety Unit and Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office are reminding the community that bringing in or transporting Landfilling materials within Kahnaw�:ke must be authorized by the Landfill Office.

Any unauthorized distribution within the community will be subject to the Sanitary Conditions Law.  Any contaminated material found will be removed at the land owner�s expense.

We are also reminding community members to be vigilant on this matter by calling the Kahnawake Peacekeepers at (450) 632-6505 to report any suspicious activity.
