Coast Guard Helicopter flying low

The Public Safety Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that there are five commercial ships located west of the Territory that still need to pass through Kahnaw�:ke on the St. Lawrence Seaway. 

Because of the extreme cold conditions, a Canada Coast Guard helicopter has been flying low to inspect ice conditions.

The ships are all expected to pass by Friday, January 12, which would be the last for the season.
