MCK hold talks with Triwin Holding Group

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the Community that Chief and Council met with Triwin Holding Group Ltd (Triwin) on Monday, June 18 to discuss a possible joint venture with Kahnaw�:ke in relation to e-commerce.

Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton sent a letter of acknowledgement to Triwin in 2017, expressing interest in the project, which led to the meeting. However, there is no formal agreement between Triwin and MCK/Kahnaw�:ke at this time.

"...we are in favor of Triwin and their team continuing their work towards making Kahnaw�:ke the Central Financial District for First Nations," the letter stated.

The two parties are simply in discussions on the possibilities, and it is in the preliminary research phase.

The Community will be updated if things progress further.
