Rats�nhaienhs Ross Montour in Nova Scotia to attend Claims conference

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Rats�nhaienhs Ross Montour is attending the National Claims Research Workshop being held today through Friday in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The workshop will feature a number of specialized sessions geared towards addressing specific claims, which deal with past grievances of First Nations related to Canada�s obligations under historic treaties and the management of First Nations� assets.

The event is being co-hosted by the Confederacy of Mainland Mi�kmaq and the Millbrook First Nation.
