Reminder - Kanawaki Lease update meeting tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to remind the community that a meeting to provide updates on the Kanawaki Golf Club lease is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 25 Kent�nha/October 2018 at the Golden Age Club from 6pm to 8pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to recap and update on the activities that have taken place since the 2016 Community Consultation was completed, and to receive feedback from Lot Holders. Additionally, there will be a presentation on the Environmental Site Assessment report that was completed this past May 14th; and to propose the creation of a sub-committee composed of the private Lot Holders in the Kanawaki lease. 

�One of the recommendations that came from the consultations with the Lot Holders was to address their request to have more direct involvement with the process,� said Rats�nhaienhs Carl Horn, who is responsible for the Kanawaki file on behalf of the MCK. �We hope to have a sub-committee in place soon.�
