Mercier Bridge schedule of weekend closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been advised by the Jacques Cartier And Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) that it will be closing the R-138 east (from Chateauguay direction) access ramp to the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge, Friday, November 9th from 9pm to Saturday 5am.

The closure is required to carry-out some minor repairs and maintenance work. A detour via R-132 will be in place for this overnight closure. The Kahnawake Peacekeepers will have officers stationed on R-132 to monitor and direct traffic.



The MCK would also like to remind road users that the Minist�re des Transports has changed the closure schedule for the Kahnaw�:ke-bound side of the Mercier Bridge, which will now take place Sunday at 2am to Monday 5am, with only one (1) lane available in each direction. During this time, the Airlie entrance (from Lasalle) to the Mercier Bridge will also be closed.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
