MCK terminates lease with Centre Solutions

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that, effective immediately, it has terminated the lease of Centre Solutions, which has been operating at the Kahnawake Office Complex.

An on-site inspection was conducted yesterday that concluded that gaming or gaming-related activities were taking place on the premises in direct contravention to Mohawk Law.

Centre Solutions, which had previously been licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, voluntarily surrendered their licenses with the KGC on September 1, 2016. Today�s actions are the culmination of an extensive investigation that has been underway for several months.

A Mohawk Council Executive Directive was passed unanimously by all nine (9) Council Chiefs present at today�s duly-convened special meeting supporting the termination of the lease and other related actions.
