The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton will be attending the Iroquois Caucus meetings being held in Ottawa tomorrow and Wednesday (February 19 and 20). Iets�nhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer will also attend on Tuesday.

Agenda items include Indian Act S-3 Amendments presentation by Sky-Deer; Cannabis Working Group update; Radioactive Waste Working Group meeting update; Language funding request; and Iroquois Caucus Priorities.

 

The Iroquois Caucus consists of elected Councils from Akwesasne, Kahnaw�:ke, Kanesatake, Tyendinaga, Wahta; Six Nations and the Oneida of the Thames.
