Reminder � additional meeting for draft Kahnawake Residency Law tomorrow

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission would like to remind the community that an additional meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) for the draft Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law.

The meeting was called after the Technical Drafting Committee discovered that changes to the definition of Onkweh�n:we Ancestry accepted at the April 4, 2019 meeting were problematic and must be readdressed. This will be explained in detail, with a new proposal for the Definition to be brought forth at the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Golden Age Club. The meeting begins at 6pm sharp and concludes at 8:30pm.
