Old Malone Highway east of tunnel reopened

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated that the section of the Old Malone Highway east of the CP Tunnel that was closed was re-opened yesterday afternoon.

The installation of an inspection platform under the Mercier Bridge was completed nearly twelve (12) days ahead of schedule.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
