Lane Closures Begin Tonight - Mercier Bridge one lane each direction June 26 � July 20

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind road-users that the Minist�re des Transports du Quebec will begin preparatory works tonight at 10pm. Expect delays as crews reconfigure the Mercier Bridge.
Major works to repair the slabs on the Montreal-bound side of the Mercier Bridge begin tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26th to Saturday, July 20th.
One lane in each direction will be open on the Kahnaw�:ke-bound bridge for the duration of the works.
Mitigation measures include: - Extended hours for the multipurpose lane on route 132/138;
- Free public transit from June 26 to 28, 2019;
- Truck ban during rush hours
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
