Tioweroton Road Work

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the Community that road work in Tiower�:ton will begin on Monday, July 15, 2019, and will last approximately three weeks.

The work will start with the cutting and trimming of vegetation/grass along the roadway�s edge and continue with repairs, the changing of culverts, road grading, and replacement of signage.

The recent rough spring thaw caused soft and muddy conditions on roads. That, combined with deep ruts, have made the roads in need of repairs.
