The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the Community of the work being performed in the Clay Mountains area (see map below).  Work is scheduled to begin on July 25, 2019. It should take two days to complete.



The MCK has retained the services of SNC-Lavalin GEM Quebec Inc. to carry out further soil characterization (soil testing) of the material stockpiled at this location. The testing will include sample collection from three boreholes. The purpose of the soil characterization is to determine if this material can be used as backfill material on future MCK projects.
