Dates Announced for By-Election

The Office of the Electoral Officer (EO) is pleased to announce several important dates for the 2019 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke By-Election.
� Nomination Day � Saturday, October 5, 10am to 12 noon at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex (those who intend to run should pre-verify their eligibility with the Office of the Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry)

� Special Advanced Poll � Saturday, October 12, 10am to 12 noon at the Golden Age Club (Letters of intent should be submitted to the EO by Monday, October 7 at 12 noon)
� Meet the Candidates Night � Wednesday, October 9, beginning at 7pm at the Golden Age Club
� Election Day � Saturday, October 19; Polls open 9am to 3pm at Karonhian�nhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienst�hkhwa
The Electoral Officer would also like to remind the community of the importance of having the required documents and signers for the nomination process ready on Nomination Day.
