Asphalt Installation tomorrow

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform road-users of the upcoming project to install asphalt on all of Mayo Road and portions of Martin Rd and East 157th Street. This project is scheduled to start tomorrow, November 26th, and may take two days to complete.

The roads affected will be closed to all traffic. The shaded area in the map below indicates where the works will take place.



Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits. All private properties that are affected by the work in this area (e.g. driveways, walkways, hedges and/or fences) will be repaired or replaced prior to the completion of the project.
