MCK meeting in Ottawa today with two Federal Ministers

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton, Nits�nhaiehns Clinton Phillips and Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer, and Chief Political Advisor Winona Polson-Lahache will meet in Ottawa today with two Federal Ministers.

They will meet with Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller at 10am, followed by a meeting with Minister of Justice David Lametti at 1pm.

Grand Chief Norton & Rats�nhaienhs Phillips are in Ottawa for the Assembly of First Nations �Special Chiefs Assembly,� which concludes tomorrow (Thursday). Iets�nhaienhs Sky-Deer and Chief Political Advisor Polson-Lahache will only be in Ottawa for the two meetings and will return immediately afterward.

Grand Chief Norton and Rats�nhaienhs Phillips are expected to return to the office on Friday, December 6th.
