COVID-19 Task Force issues important NOTICE regarding Restaurants, Social Clubs, Fitness Centers, etc

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force would like to advise the community on important directives taken today.
The Task Force has directed the following:
- All restaurants operating on the Territory are directed to close their dining rooms effective immediately, though pick-up and delivery will be permitted
- All Alcoholic Beverages Control Board permit holders are to close immediately
- All social clubs are to cease operating
- All organizations under the Executive Directors Committee are directed to instruct employees age 70 and older, or those who have immunity-suppressed systems, that they must NOT come to work under any circumstances.
These directives are effective immediately, and until further notice.
The Task Force wishes to acknowledge that several of the organizations or businesses affected had already taken measures to address the COVID-19 pandemic, and all were cooperative and understood that the decisions being made are for the health and safety of all Kahnawa�kehr�:non.
