Main Water Line Replacement � Veterans Blvd

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the main water line on Veteran�s Boulevard will be replaced. The works are scheduled to start on Tuesday July 8th, 2008 and will continue until the end of September 2008.

The water line is being replaced to ensure better service to the community for our future needs.

The project will be carried out in segments to minimize inconvenience to all community members. A temporary water line will be installed to ensure service to all residents during construction.

Residents in the area may be inconvenienced with temporary loss of water, dust and noise from trucks and equipment, detours and temporary road closures. Residents will be notified at least one day prior to having the water turned off. Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits. The community will also be notified when a road closure is scheduled.
