Cenotaph Parking Lot Improvements

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the Capital Unit will be upgrading the Cenotaph parking area beginning July 15, 2008. Construction should be completed by mid-August. The parking area will be closed throughout the duration of the project.

The Capital Unit will be installing a new storm drainage line, catch basins, asphalt and curbs. Also a green space will be created within this area.

On Wednesday July 16, 2008, the Council Road will be CLOSED from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. The road will be closed to allow for the installation of the surface drainage system.
