ABC Election Upheld

The Court of Kahnaw�:ke would like to announce that it has come to a decision regarding the June 13th election for the Kahnaw�:ke Alcoholic Beverages Control (ABC) Board.

Justice of the Peace, Josephine Curotte, announced that the results of the ABC Board Election will be upheld.

Justice Curotte has come to this determination based on documentation submitted by the concerned parties. "There were some deficiencies in the process and they will be itemized in my written judgement as well recommendations to minimize or eliminate any ambiguity in relation to the process" says Curotte.

The written judgement will be made available to the community on July 23rd, 2008 at the Court of Kahnaw�:ke.
