Soils with Asbestos fragments to be removed

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Sanexan Environmental Services, Inc., a company that specializes in the removal of asbestos containing materials (often referred to as ACM), will be in Kahnaw�:ke to remove soils from a private property in the Lot 106 area.
As in previous instances, all necessary precautions and processes will be utilized to meet or exceed the regulations governing such matters. The property will be fenced off with tarpaulins to prevent/reduce dust. All soils will be watered prior to being moved/removed.
This follows similar work undertaken on the same area in early June. Any questions or comments can be brought to the Asbestos Working Group via 450-632-7500.
