Mercier Bridge one lane available in each direction

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like the remind the community that work on the Mercier Bridge begins tonight at 10pm until August 17th at 5am.

During these works, one lane will be available in each direction, in a counter-flow configuration. All access ramps on both sides of the Bridge will be open to traffic.

A Truck Ban is in place for the duration of these works. Trucks with three (3) axles or more are prohibited from accessing the Bridge Monday to Friday during the morning rush-hour (5am to 9:30am) towards Montreal, and in the afternoon (3pm to 7:30pm) towards Kahnaw�:ke/South Shore.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are being carried out by the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec and a local contractor, as part of the Mercier Bridge maintenance project. As such, these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that the MCK does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
