Frank Phillips Road � Semi Urban Upgrade

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that works have begun on the Frank Phillips Road Semi Urban Upgrade.

The works include some minor tree clearing and the addition of a Farmer�s Drainage type system. After the drainage is completed a 2� thick layer of asphalt will be installed. The upgrade will help cut down on maintenance costs as the existing gravel roads are in constant need of grading to eliminate potholes.

The works are scheduled to take approximately 5 to 7 days, weather permitting, and should be completed by August 8, 2008. There will be minor disruptions to local traffic.
