Old Malone Highway closure extended

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) that work underneath the Mercier bridge will continue Friday from 7am to 4pm.

As such, the current detour on the Old Malone Highway will remain in place until the work Is completed.

The MCK is reminding motorists to please drive with caution through the detour and to obey all posted signs.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
