Advisory Regarding Private Contractors

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to inform Kahnawa′kehr�:non that, while there are restrictions on certain types of businesses, Kahnaw�:ke is not completely restricted for business at this time.

Businesses such as private contractors, both local and external, for pool services, fence repair, home repairs, etc. are still permitted.

However, this is subject to change at any time should the situation worsen. Should that happen we will inform and advise the community immediately.

Effective at 12:01am on Sunday, October 4th, certain businesses are being asked to close or modify services. Gaming establishments will be closed, and restaurants will be asked to revert to take-out and delivery only. No in-house dining allowed. Cigar Lounges will revert to retail sales only.
