MCK to conduct walk through inspection for ACM at Lot 106 area

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that a walk through inspection will take place on a fenced-off property in the Lot 106 �Phase 4� area to check for any asbestos-containing material (ACM) that may have surfaced during the spring, summer and fall.
 
The inspection will take place on Thursday, November 12th at 1pm (weather permitting) by MCK workers specially trained in the safe handling of ACM, with all safety guidelines and procedures respected. Should any pieces be found they will be properly removed by double bagging the pieces.
 
The inspections are a follow-up to work that has been done regarding ACM in the area.
  
All safety measures directed by the COVID-19 Task Force will be observed, such as masking and social distancing.
