Mercier Bridge Lane Closures Continue

Kahnaw�:ke bound lane closures will continue on the Mercier Bridge from 7:30pm on Thursday, September 4th to 11am on Friday, September 5th, as well as the week of September 8th to the 12th. All works will take place outside of rush hour periods, since the contractor, Mohawk Bridge Consortium (MBC), will be working mostly at night.

Closure details:
� September 8th from 2am to11am;
� September 8th from 7:30pm to September 9th at 11am;
� September 9th from 7:30pm to September 10th at 11am;
� September 10th from 7:30pm to September 11th at 11am;
� September 11th from 7:30pm to September 12th at 11am.

This closure will allow the contractor to continue repairing connection plates. In all, nearly fifty plates will be repaired by the MBC during this first phase.

This work will be done under the bridge structure and will not be apparent to users. However, this operation is essential to the bridge repair work and replacement of the deck.
