Removal of soil with ACM to begin tomorrow on Tekakwitha Island

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) wishes to follow up with the community that the removal of soil with asbestos-containing material from the Kateri Tekakwitha Island Recreation Bay Project site will begin tomorrow, Thursday, November 26th.

The material removal will last for approximately one week (weather dependent), taking place between 7am and 2pm.

The work will be supervised by a KEPO staff member as well as the contractor on the project.
