Last Day for Mass Vaccinations Announced

The Kahnawake COVID-19 Task Force (Task Force) has officially announced the end date for the community�s Mass Vaccination Campaign.

Due to the shelf life of the vaccine, Tuesday, April 6, 2021, will be the last day of operations and your last day to get your first dose of the vaccine if you haven�t already done so.

�We have already vaccinated several thousand residents, and we would like to see more Kahnawa�kehr�:non book their vaccination appointments as soon as possible,� said Lloyd Phillips, Commissioner of Public Safety. �We are hoping that residents who may not have made up their minds about getting the vaccine will see the benefits and make their appointment before the end of the campaign.�

Please do not wait to book your vaccination appointment, as there are a limited amount of vaccines that can be administered per day, and if everyone waits until the very end, people will have to be turned away.
