Important � What is acceptable for recycling

The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to remind the community the items below do not belong in your recycling bins:

• Yard Raking
• Clothing
• Cement Bags
• Hoses
• Medical masks and gloves

It�s important that we place only recyclable materials inside the blue bin to avoid contamination or possibly damaging the Minimax truck. The items listed below are acceptable in the blue recycling bin:

• All plastic containers that contain the recycle codes from 1-5 and 7
• Plastic bags (please tie together)
• All Aluminum containers
• Tins Cans
• Glass jars
• All paper products
