Please place yard-rakings in clear bags for pick-up

The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to remind the community that black garbage bags full of leaves will not be collected for compost pick-up. Leaves should be left curbside in a clear, orange, or paper bag on your regular compost pick-up day.

Also, please be sure there are no garbage or animal droppings within the leaf pile. The leaves collected are used in our Community Compost pile each year, and these items can contaminate the pile.
