Weekend Bridge Closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec (MTQ) that repair and maintenance work will require two closures on the Mercier Bridge this weekend:

• The up-ramp towards Montreal from R-138 east will be closed for repaving from 9pm Friday until 9am Saturday. A detour will be set up via R-132 west.

• The Kahnaw�:ke bound side of the Mercier Bridge will be closed from Saturday 2am until Monday 5am for repair work to the concrete slab. One lane will be available in each direction on the Montreal bound side. The Airlie entrance from Lasalle will be closed.

Additionally, A-30 east in the area of R-207 (from marker 43.1 to 45.6) will be closed from Friday 10pm until Saturday 6am.

Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the mobile work zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
