Mercier Bridge Overnight and Weekend Ramp Closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that inspection and paving work will require the closure of several access ramps on the Kahnaw�:ke side of the Mercier Bridge:

R-132 west up-ramp towards Montreal, and the R-138 west down-ramp towards Chateauguay will be closed for inspection work Thursday, July 1, 10pm until Friday, July 2, 5am.

A detour via R-132 east will be in place, see map below.



Additionally. The R-132 west up-ramp towards Montreal will be closed for paving work, Friday, July 2 from 10pm until Monday, July 5 at 5am.

A detour via R-138 east will be in place, see map below.



Please drive with caution and slow down when entering construction zones and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
