Recreation Path Extension Complete

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Capital Unit is pleased to announce that Phase 3 of the Recreation Path extension from the bridge to the marina on Kateri Tekakwitha Island is now complete.

The first phase of this project saw the creation of a Recreation Path from the Marina to the bridge along the Marina Road. Phase II extended along the Village�s west end from Onake to Deere�s Beach.

�I�m glad this project was completed at this time,� said Director of Capital, Thomas Skye. �Community members can still enjoy the path with the warm weather we are expecting.�
