Animal Control staffing issue impacts On-Call Services

The Public Safety Division wishes to inform the community that Animal Control is currently operating with limited resources.

As a result, Animal Control will be operating during regular business hours from Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4pm (phone number: 514-232-3307). Unfortunately, on-call/after-hours services are temporarily suspended at this time.

Residents who may require immediate assistance should contact the Peacekeepers at 450-632-6505 pertaining to emergencies such as:

  • Stray animals on road or highway
  • Stray livestock
  • Loose, stray or aggressive dogs
  • Sick or injured animals
We will inform the community once the current situation is rectified. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
