Local male arrested in early morning operation

The Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers wish to advise the community regarding an early morning operation that took place on the Territory.

On the morning of Friday, September 3rd,2021 at 06:00, the Peacekeepers participated in a joint operation with officers from the SPVM (Montreal police) and the S�ret� du Qu�bec. The Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at a residence on Hwy 132 and arrested a local male. Simultaneously, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Mercier, and one (1) male suspect was also arrested. Police seized firearms and suspected drugs at the aforementioned locations.

Multiple drug and firearms charges are pending. More information will be released as it becomes available.
