Asbestos Civil Investigation report expected by mid-October

The Asbestos Civil Investigation ACI) team, appointed by the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke, wishes to update the community on the progress of the independent investigation and report being prepared by Deloitte Forensics. Inc.

It was anticipated that the final report and end of the project would be completed by September 30th, but various time constraints and current community issues have caused unanticipated delays.

It is now expected that the Final Report should be received by mid-October and then presented to the Ratits�nhaienhs, and the community observer, Doug Lahache. The Executive Summary of the Final Report will thereafter be made available to community members.

The ACI Team wishes to thank the community for its patience and understanding in this matter.
