New Huron-Wendat Chief Meets with Kahnaw�:ke

Conrad Sioui, elected recently as Grand Chief of Wendake, is in Kahnaw�:ke today to meet with Grand Chief Michael Ahr�hrhon Delisle, Jr.

Chief Sioui and several Huron-Wendat representatives wish to discuss Mohawk/Huron-Wendat relations, common files, taxation issues, territoriality and Iroquoian comprehensive claims.

Chief Sioui defeated long-time Chief Max Gros-Louis in the recent election in the community near Quebec City.
