Community Consultations

The Kahnaw�:ke Justice Commission is pleased to announce the start of the community orientation sessions for the possible development of a Kahnaw�:ke Justice System. The sessions will give an historical and present overview of our current Justice Systems as well as what the future may hold. These sessions are informal and are meant to provoke discussion on justice for our community.

The sessions will take place at the Kahnaw�:ke Language & Culture Training Center (bottom of K103 Radio Station) on the following dates:

Date Time Wednesday, January 7, 2009 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

As an incentive, four lucky participants will win Shop Kahnaw�:ke gift certificates worth $50 each.
