Water Line Installation R-207 and Rice Road � Road Closure Extended

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that the road closures from Wednesday, October 27 to Friday, October 29 will be extended to Monday, November 1, 2021, weather permitting.

St. Isidore Road/R-207 road and a section of the Rice Road (13th Avenue) will be closed to traffic while crews install new water and sewer lines in the area.

Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits. The roads affected will be closed to all through traffic. Flagmen will allow local traffic and people wishing to patronize local business access to the restricted area.

Shown below is a map of the general area. The shaded area indicates the roads that will be closed to traffic.
