Quebec Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Ian Lafreni�re visits Kahnawake

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Quebec�s Minister responsible for Aboriginal Affairs, Ian Lafreni�re, is meeting with Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs (Grand Chief) Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer today in Kahnaw�:ke.

Minister Lafreni�re will be accompanied by Marie-Chantal Chass�, the Member of the National Assembly representing the riding of Chateauguay.

Agenda items include discussions on the draft Quebec/Kahnaw�:ke relationship framework, the proposed meeting with Quebec Premier Fran�ois Legault, the Kanien�keh�:ka Onkwaw�n:na Cultural Center, and other items.
