Old Malone Highway closure east of the CP Tunnel

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that a portion of the Old Malone Highway directly under the Mercier Bridge will be closed, as crews install platforms underneath the span. The Old Malone Highway will be closed between the CP Rail Tunnel up to the I-Beam detour road, located across from the MBC offices.

The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23rd, and Thursday, March 24th, between the hours of 7am and 4pm.

A detour will be in place (see map below).

The MCK is reminding motorists to please drive with caution through the detour and to obey all posted signs.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
